I feel as if I’ve been on a rollercoaster this month. On the one hand, I graduated from college with a degree in Marketing – two years of hard work definitely paid off.
Then my world crashed on the 16th of November, as I learned that my marketing lecturer and mentor passed away due to illness. Mark had been very kind to me and helped me settle as I had transferred from one degree to another. The thing that gives me most comfort is that he had seen my graduation photos before he died. I know that he is looking after me still….I can feel it….
This selection comes from Tallaght and Ballyroan libraries, both in county Dublin. As you’ll notice, there is some more fiction in there than usual:
Mindfulness For Life – Stephen McKenzie & Craig Hassed
The Moon And More – Sarah Dessen (I have read most of her books, but not this one)
Hopeless – Colleen Hoover
Abandon – Meg Cabot
Mindwalker – A.J. Steiger
Lament – Maggie Stiefvater
Let It Snow – Debbie Macomber
The Barefoot Contessa Cookbook – Ina Garten
Can’t wait to dive in! I’m currently reading Uglies by Scott Westerfield, and I think I will read the rest of that series too.
