Malteaser Slab

I brought this into work the other day and it was so popular I am going to make a second batch! Here it is (recipe follows):

100g butter

200g digestives

2tblsp golden syrup

125g milk chocolate


2oog Malteasers (halved or smashed)

250g milk chocolate


Line cookie tin with greaseproof paper. Melt butter, golden syrup and 125g milk chocolate. Crush digestive biscuits and add to the melted mixture. Cut Malteasers in half or smash them if you’re feeling lazy! Add these to your mixture and mix well. Spread in tin. Cool in the fridge for 30 mins. Then for the topping, melt 250g milk chocolate and spread over the top. Top with marshmallows (optional).
